Our Credit Union

Notre Dame Federal Credit Union was created in 1941, with its primary field of membership being the faculty, staff, and students of the University of Notre Dame. Today, we have over 400 select employee member groups; our field of membership includes Saint Mary's College, Holy Cross College, several local Catholic parishes, the major hospitals in our market area, and many others. The above memberships also include immediate families. Plus, alumni of the universities are eligible for membership, too!

We offer a full line of financial services, and are continually expanding to better serve our members. Share draft (checking) accounts were added in the early 1980s, MasterCard in the mid-80s, Visa in October 1993, Home Banking in April 1997, the Visa CheckCard in 1998, Nationwide Mortgages in March 2000, and Visa Platinum, which pays you cash back, in October 2001. Land/Lot loans were added in 2004, and in 2005, we expanded our line of equity products.

The credit union offers a full line of consumer loans, including both first and second mortgages, auto loans, and personal lines-of-credit.

Currently, the credit union has ten (10) full service branches, two (2) walk-up facilities, and thirty-two (32) no-surcharge* ATMs. Our main office is located on the north side of the University of Notre Dame campus, on Douglas Road.

You can bank on us to be better!

*There is no ATM surcharge for members of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union.
