Our Credit Union
Eligibility Requirements for Family Members, Business Accounts, Organizations, Clubs, and Volunteers.
Immediate family and household members
Those persons who by family relationship or who live in the same household are eligible to join the credit union. This includes only parents, children, spouse, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandchildren, and foster/ adopted/ stepchildren of persons. Members of the same household are those persons that live in the same residence and maintain a single economic unit. It is important to note that a member need not join first in order for his/ her immediate family or household member to join. However, it is necessary for the immediate family member of household member to join first in order for that person's immediate family member or household member to join the credit union. (Effective March 5, 1999)
Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union are also eligible to join the credit union.
Business Accounts
A business account may only be opened by a qualified member. The fact that an individual opens a business account with us does not extend membership to the employees of that business.
Organization & Club Accounts
Same requirements as for business accounts, mentioned above.
Retirees
Same requirements as for business accounts, mentioned above.
Volunteers
Volunteers of the above groups are also eligible to join the credit union. Volunteers are those persons deemed to be part of the above common bond group by virtue of their direct close relationship to that group. Such volunteers should be officially recognized as such by the sponsoring group. (Effective March 5, 1999)
